1. Projects and photos stay on your device
ResultCam stores project names, optional client names, notes, photo pairs, photo files, timestamps, Trash records, and app settings in the app’s local storage. You do not need to enter a client’s personal information. The app requires no account and has no developer-operated backend or cloud sync. The developer cannot remotely read or recover this content.
The app contains no third-party advertising, behavioral analytics, or tracking SDKs. It does not build advertising-identifier profiles or upload job photos to the developer. Apple may process system diagnostics, purchases, and device backups according to your device and Apple Account settings and Apple’s policies.
2. Camera and photo selection
Camera permission is requested only when you open the capture feature. The camera takes still photos. The app does not request microphone, location, contacts, or tracking permission. If you decline camera access, you can still import existing photos. Permissions can be changed in iPhone Settings.
Imports use the system photo picker. The app receives only photos you select, without reading your entire library. It keeps a local copy for organization and export and does not modify the original in Photos. Original imported files may contain existing metadata, such as capture time or location; the app does not use it to track you. Shared JPG and PDF files are newly rendered without GPS location metadata. Full backups include original files and any metadata already present in them.
3. Sharing, exports, and full backups
Comparison JPGs, PDFs, and backup files are generated on your device. They are passed to the system or another service only when you choose a share or save destination. Email, messaging, cloud-storage, or other destinations may store, upload, or share files under their own policies. Check photos, client names, notes, and business text before sending.
Full backups contain projects, photos, and Trash. A backup is a readable file, not a vault encrypted with a separate password; keep it in a trusted location. Restore validates the format and file integrity before merging records. The app may also create temporary files for system sharing. Before backup and restore, it reads available device storage to check whether files can be written safely. Storage information is used only for local checks and is not uploaded to the developer or third parties.
4. One-time purchase
The lifetime unlock uses Apple’s App Store and StoreKit. Apple handles payment and refunds; the developer does not receive your payment-card details. The app verifies transactions on the device and stores the unlock state locally. Restoring a purchase may require a connection to Apple’s services. There is no auto-renewing subscription.
5. Deletion, recovery, and device backups
Deleted projects and photo pairs first move to Trash until you restore or permanently delete them. Permanent deletion and uninstalling the app may remove local data, so save an independent backup first. Previously exported files, photos sent to others, and system or third-party copies are not removed by deletion inside the app; manage those copies at their respective destinations.
iOS may back up app data according to your system backup settings. This is separate from app-provided cloud sync. The developer does not control your system backups and cannot recover lost local content for you.
6. Support messages
If you email support, we receive your email address and the text, screenshots, or attachments you choose to send, and use them to reply and investigate the issue. Send only what is needed, without your full work library, payment details, or unrelated client information. You can request deletion of support messages at the same email address, subject to any required legal retention.
7. Policy updates
This policy and its date will be updated if features or data handling change. For questions, contact mlaohu.app@gmail.com.
