Privacy policy

Your photos and measurements belong with you. MeasureNest stores your library on your device and does not send its contents to us.

1. Information in your library

You choose photos, enter measurements and write titles, room names and notes. MeasureNest stores these items, along with record creation, modification and deletion dates, in its private app storage. Your preferences are stored locally. No MeasureNest account or developer-operated storage service is provided.

2. Photos and camera

The system photo picker gives MeasureNest access to the photos you select. It does not grant access to your whole photo library. Camera access is requested only when you choose to take a photo. If you choose Save Image in the share sheet, the system may request add-only permission to save the exported image to Photos. The app does not request your location, contacts or microphone. Imported photos are prepared for use in the app; your original photo library items are not modified.

3. No advertising or behavioral tracking

MeasureNest contains no advertising, analytics or third-party crash-reporting SDK. We do not track you across apps or websites, sell your data or automatically collect your library, identifiers or usage history. Apple may process store purchases, system diagnostics or device backups under its own settings and privacy policy.

4. Sharing and backups you choose

When you export an annotated image, PDF or complete backup, you decide where it goes using the system share sheet or Files. These exports can contain your photos, notes and measurements. A complete backup also includes records in Recently Deleted. A provider you select, including iCloud Drive, may store the exported file under its own privacy practices. The app does not automatically upload a library to a MeasureNest service. Depending on your iPhone settings, the operating system may include app data in device backups.

Exported images, PDFs and backup files are not password-protected by MeasureNest. Store them in a place you trust and share them only with intended recipients.

5. Retention and deletion

Records remain locally until you remove them. Deleting a record moves it to Recently Deleted; you can restore it or permanently delete it there. Recently Deleted is not automatically cleared. Removing the app removes its local storage, subject to the behavior of operating-system backups. Deleting something in MeasureNest does not remove exports, device backups or copies held by people or services you chose. Manage those copies at their destination. Copies prepared for sharing may also remain in system-managed temporary storage until the operating system reclaims them. We cannot recover a lost library from our servers because we do not hold one.

6. Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use that information to answer your request. Please omit private photos or unrelated personal information. Ask us by email if you want your support correspondence deleted, subject to any retention obligations.

7. Children

MeasureNest is a general-purpose home utility and does not provide accounts, public profiles or social features. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
